Building Better Futures

At Nkolo Orthopaedics Rehabilitation Center, we believe in the transformative power of education and empowerment for young amputees and persons with disabilities (PWDs). Our dedicated programs are designed to provide not only physical rehabilitation but also the tools, resources, and support needed for individuals to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Our education initiative focuses on ensuring that young amputees have access to quality education, enabling them to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential. We enroll them in local schools and provide full school fees, learning materials, and tailored support that meets each child’s unique needs. By investing in their education, we are not just helping them walk again we are allowing them to build a future where they can successfully thrive.

In addition to education, we are deeply committed to the empowerment of PWDs, particularly those living in extreme poverty. Through our empowerment program, we strive to break the cycle of poverty by equipping individuals with:

  • Vocational skills training
  • Start-up tools and materials for income-generating activities
  • Business mentorship and support
  • Access to community-based rehabilitation resources

These initiatives help our beneficiaries become economically independent, socially included, and confident in their abilities to contribute meaningfully to society.

At NORC, empowerment goes beyond therapy—it is about restoring hope, unlocking potential, and building better futures for those who have long been overlooked.
